Butterfly sketches, angel paintings and more

I have been painting landscapes and angels for years. I will always paint angels, but now I want to also work on butterflies and stained glass windows. This is the first butterfly. Please let me know if you have ideas for butterfly books I can study.

Two angels side by side

Michael and Gabriel

Colorful angels painted on wood and nailed together

Flock of Angels

I painted this icon of Michael and Gabriel at InterAct and sold it at the St Paul Art Crawl.  I submitted this Angel Flock below it to the Sister Kinney International Art contest. It did not win, but I heard many nice comments about it.  After I painted each of the angels on pieces of old wood, my sister and my dad Rick helped me to nail them together into a flock. It is the last project we did together before he died.

Four floating angels

These floating angels came to me in a dream

Many colorful fish swimming under the sea

These fish remind me of the time I went to Mexico and saw fish and coral. My favorite here is the clown fish because he looks like Nemo.

A lion, sheep and birds in a sunny summer landscape

I painted this 22" x 28" acrylic because it is one of my favorite songs. I sang it at church one Sunday. You can find it on You Tube at All things bright and beautiful and add my name (Eve)

Birch tree in the moonlight

The birch trees in my front yard inspired me for this summer painting

Three birch trees without leaves

This is how the birch in my yard look in the fall

3 apartment buildings with angels filling the windows
This 18 x24″ watercolor reminds us that angels can be anywhere. Can you find the 3 sister angels?
Angel with a blue gown and blue wings

This angel came to my window and told me everything was going to be alright when I was 5 years old and had a brain tumor and everyone thought I was going to die.
