Hi Friends!
My 2024 Holiday cards are ready, plus one new greeting card. Please take a look at my Art page to see them and other new artworks.
I especially enjoyed painting “Ten at Night.” Sometimes I see animals in my backyard and I hear owls hooting. Owls are fascinating and they inspired me to dream about them and paint night time scenes. Question: do you see 10 creatures or is it 10 at night or both?
Also, I did a mixed media pathway with pumpkins and squash and real rocks. I’m still working on my handbound book with my art and poetry with my artist mentor and friend Cami. At Interact, I have made bowls, angel pottery and mixed media paintings and some jewelry.
One of this year’s highlight is that I have a new niece, Molly Jean. I enjoy holding her and seeing her smile at me. It makes my heart warm.
I spent a week at Brain Gains at Camp Courage. I call it Brain Games. I learned a lot of new helpful tips about ways to remember important things. I also made a lot of new friends there.
Special Olympics is still a big part of my life. My unified golf partner Katie couldn’t golf part of this year, so Adam golfed with me. Team Adam and Eve got first place at District! I also got a first place at State in track, so I may get to go to Nationals right here in the Twin Cities in 2026. I will keep you posted. I did some fund raising with my friend Julie and BCA officers at Dunkin’ Donuts. I got a free donut at the end!
Another neat thing that happened is my aunt Rose moved back to Minnesota. I get to hang out with her and her very interesting cat Kinsey. We even do art together sometimes. We eat lunch and catch up on our lives.
