Hello Art loving friends!
I wish you good health and safety and delight in the things that make you happy during the Pandemics in our lives at this time. While you are at home, I have several new pieces of ART WORK for you to look and to consider buying.
These are many of the activities that I have been doing this year.
Doing Virtual Special Olympics with my friend and unified partner Alexis. We also lift weights every Thursday on Facetime. Sometimes her dog joins us.
Going up to Dan and Kristin’s cabin in Aitkin in the woods. We went kayaking and hiking. We also played games with Shaun and Katarina and Jessa – including a silly string fight! I took a few photos at sunrise with my new iPad.
Gardening with my mother inside of our raised garden bed. The animals ate us out of much of our foods. But I got a lot of chocolate mint and we had plenty of kale and ground cherries.
Taking Zoom ART classes with Interact Art Center teachers and friends. Another thing I have been working on is writing in Calligraphy!
Having Zoom Sunday school classes. We also socially distanced with Flames friends, while helping out side of our church – like mulching and weeding. We had a retreat at a park, where we worked on our puppets and practiced for a show.
These are Blessings in my life at this time during the Pandemic.
- Watching a lot of birds outside of my living room window eating from my bird feeder. Along with chipmunks and squirrels.
- Working on drawing birds using my own step by steps ways of teaching how to draw them when their perched on a tree branch or on a rock or on the birdfeeder’s medal cardinal. These birds would include Cardinals, Black Capped Chickadees, Robins, Grosbeak, Crows, Sparrows, Woodpeckers (my least favorite) and Hawks. Now I am working on how to draw the Blue Jays that I am watching out at my square bird feeder.
- Another Blessing is that I have had time to work on drawing and painting angels with different mixed media, on rocks paper, canvas and cards.
- Another blessing in my life has been going on walks with my mom and my PCA Paula and my friend Chesley and her small dog Ozzie and my friend Ona.
I have been doing yoga, eating healthy and tracking my meals in a fitbook. Next time, I will share a recipe with you.
Sincerely,
Your Friend Evita (Eve)
